The Work
A F Connell Ltd where employed to design, install and commission the full project ready for the client to let to the general public. This included the fit-out of each of the one and two bedroom apartments spread over seventeen floors, communal areas and basement cycle and car parking areas. Also included were the external socialising areas seating offering a spectacular view of the river.
Mechanical ventilation, CHP system, smoke extraction and pressurisation systems were some of services included on the project. Individual electricity supplies were installed to the ground floor intake/distribution room for each dwelling which AFC distributed around the building on the vast containment system. High grade fibre-optic cabling is distributed to each apartment, providing the tenants access to high speed internet if required, and also CAT 6 data infrastructure. Heating and hot water were provided to each apartment via a central heat network, serving individual heat interface units positioned locally within the services cupboards. The project was delivered on time and on budget, with the apartments available to let from spring 2021.
